Lost items

How ever careful you are, there is always that moment when you forget to look, or the accident happens.

Somewhere in Germany there is a campsite without a plug in the wash basin and without any grid over the plug hole. Tom's bar of soap lies in the u-bend.

Somewhere in Germany there is a tree in a forest with a plastic bag conataining a loo roll that I left behind. (it rained later that day, so a soggy loo roll).

At some German railway station sits Tom's credit card, so mine had to be canceled. Since we don't have regular access to the inernet it looks as if we may lose the few Olympic tickets we were allocated.

And yesterday some picnic site gained my lovely beanie waterproof hat, that has kept my head warm and dry throughout the worst of the North Sea weather. What will I do without it?

The museums of ship wrecks we have visited give a whole new meaning to "worse things happen at sea". The west coast of Jutland is treacherous with its sand bars.
