I am trying to find out how to add photos to this blog.  It seems rather tedious, but here is a first attempt, from photos taken earlier on our journey:-

This is us two with the bikes.  I meant to make the one of me second, as it otherwise gives a bad impression.  Our bikes are OK!

Here are some sand dunes and then the sort of countryside we have got rather used to, the in the Netherlands with a windmill, as there must be!

and here are some boats in a lock in Holland; we had to stop on the road while the bridge was lifted to let them through.

Bird photography needs rather specialised equipment, so we content ourselves with a poster!

Here is a medieval altarpiece from a church near Jever, in Germany, which we found beautiful
