The plot thickens

Well we got the ferry to Holland sorted and then felt we ought to book the train to Harwich.  There are engineering works on the line between Liverpool Street and Ingatestone with a replacement bus service.  It doesn't sound very bike friendly.  We are trying to find an alternative route involving a bike ride along relatively quiet roads.  Harlow to Chelmsford is on Sustrans Route 1, so looks a possibility.
